just to be proven: 12th of march 2011 and we are on a eastern mediterrean sea cruise, today in Heraklion, Crete/Greece early morning in Heraklion harbour, a bit cloudy and a 6°C only

...but later it came to 20°C and we visited the isle of Crete by bus
first stop in a small sleepy village, walking around we mentioned, that it seems younger people coming back to the even older villages, just because of us beeing tourists
in every, even the smallest places: a pretty church, 98% are orthodox-catholic. and at almost every place big signs mentioning, that the EU is paying for streets, rebuilding and renovating and for having at least one primary and secondary school in every village.
